AE's Ethiopian dojo now offers advanced training as well as separate aikido classes for kids and adults six days a week. Members have conducted demos at taekwondo schools in the capital and aside the hippo-holding Lake Awassa. Aikido activities are part of a youth program that includes One Love Theater's gymnastics AIDS-awareness show, and learning opportunities in the library/art/music room. Aikido work now enriches the Theater program's repertoire.
